The rubber outer door window seal on the S1 has a metal inner strip that is famous for rusting and bubbling within the seal

Lotus want £60 a side to replace these !!

An alternative is to replace them with a generic door seal from Woolies for under £30 total price

Replacements for the OEM seals are now available from elise-shop.com. These should fit better than the Woolies ones:
